Dr. Lynda Chen graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic. In addition to Chiropractic Care, she is trained in Graston, Myofascial Release Technique (M.R.T.), Clinical Acupuncture, Functional Range Release and has extensive knowledge in treating foot related joint problems either with chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy or with orthotics. Dr. Chen is also a certified Sports First Responder with the Canadian Red Cross.
Dr. Chen’s interests include volleyball, badminton, running and martial arts. She started training in Taekwon-Do at age 12 and was on the Canadian National Taekwon-Do Team in 2004. She performed demonstrations with other Taekwon-Do instructors and has conducted health talks on various topics, such as proper care of the spine during kicking drills, exercises and stretching. Dr. Chen has also volunteered within the community presenting health talks at the Running Room on various running injuries and Back Pack/Postural Awareness at local elementary schools.
